In recent days, there’s been alleged details of the Fantastic Four movie that were leaked by its editor, but we all know there’s tons of horse manure on the ‘net we should all try to avoid whenever possible. So word has come down that the official Fantastic Four trailer will be debuting soon, and these rumors may actually be true.
Cinema Blend reports that according to Simon Kinberg (X-Men), who co-wrote the script, the trailer should be playing before the movie Kingsman: Secret Service.
The Fantastic Four has been pushed back to August 7th, it was originally going to be out this February, but apparently the trailer will be debuting when the movie was originally going to come out, which was February 13. The cast includes Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch, and Jamie Bell as The Thing. Josh Trank (Chronicle) is the director, and he also co-wrote the script with Kinberg.
Along with Daredevil and Howard the Duck, there’s no superhero story screaming for a reboot more than The Fantastic Four, and we’re indeed hoping the Chronicle team can give us what we need.
