Debuted during Sunday’s NFL broadcasts, the launch trailer for the much anticipated CoD: Black Ops is now available on YouTube.
The short, intense clip is set to the haunting “Gimme Shelter” song by the Rolling Stones and features chillingly accurate cold war action and diplomacy, along with a digital JFK cameo appearance.
CoD: Black Ops allows players to assume the role of two characters: Alex Mason and Jason Hudson who operate behind enemy lines in various locations, including the Ural Mountains, Laos, Cuba and Vietnam.
The game is powered by an enhanced World at War engine capable of rendering an impressive 60 frames per second (FPS) on consoles.
In addition, Black Ops features improved lighting effects and streaming texture technology, which facilitates the detailed design of larger levels.
