HTC has scored a win with Verizon Wireless, which is introducing the Taiwanese companies smartphone.
The HTC Touch Pro 2 includes a 3.6-inch touch screen that tilts to the angle you want, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and a speakerphone.
The phone will give high speed connectity over Verizon’s mobile broadband network, supports a number of global standards including GSM, GPRS, and WCDMA/HSPA. It also supports wi-fi, has a 3.2 megapixel camera, connects with Microsoft Outlook and Office, and supports Bluetooth.
The machine uses the Qualcomm 528MHz MSM 7600A, has 512MB ROM memory and 288MB RAM, and weighs 6.3 ounces.
The ohone costs $199.99 after a $100 mail in rebate with a two year customer agreement, and will be available this Friday.
