Software giant Microsoft said it has released Exchange 2010 with a slew of additional functions.
Microsoft is claiming that Exchange Server 2010 customers can save up to 70 percent because of support for lower cost storage.
It also claims that customers can get 20 percent productivity gains because it has designed a universal inbox that puts email, voice mail, instant messages and text messages together.
Bank of America, NEC Philips, Subaru Canada have already deployed Exchange 2010, said Microsoft.
Microsoft also report that corporations and organizations have moved to Windows 7 and reported gains in efficiency for both users and IT staff. These customers include the City of Miami, BMW, Energizer and Baker Tilly.
