Lenin’s favorite car maker launches $1 million SUV

If an ordinary SUV isn’t enough of a status symbol, you might want to take a look at the Dartz Prombron Monaco Red Diamond Edition.

With bullet-proof, gold-plated windows, pure tungsten exhausts and diamond-encrusted instruments, prices range from a bargain-basement €300,000 up to over a million, depending on just how glittery you want it. The top of the range model compes with three bottles of Russo-Baltique vodka in a gold and diamond encrusted flask.

“All metal parts are made from rocket titanium and coated with white gold on former soviet space supplier factory. Jubileum 100 MONACO badges – similar to Trotsky car badge – are made from white gold, but of course you can choose any metal or incrusting,” promises Dartz.

Most startlingly, perhaps, the seats are made with leather from a whale’s penis. Very soft, apparently.

Powered by a 550-horsepower Vortec 8100 V8 engine, it can reach 240kmh, and comes with every technical bell or whistle imaginable.

Six cameras constantly record a 360 degree view and relay information to a security system.

Dartz has been in the luxury car business a long time. It produced armored vehicles for Lenin, Trotsky and Tsar Nicholas. If you want to join that select band, all the info is here.
