Chicago (IL) – Imeem has introduced a new social music app for two Apple devices. Imeem Mobile allows users to create custom stations based on their favorite artists, discover new music via personalized recommendations and download songs from iTunes onto their iPhone or iPod touch.
“Imeem Mobile gives iPhone and iPod touch owners a fun way to discover new music and enjoy their personal music library,” explained imeem CEO Dalton Caldwell. “We’re pleased to offer the market’s leading social music application on the world’s most revolutionary mobile devices.”
Imeem Mobile also offers access to MyMusic, a service for users with large music collections. With MyMusic, individuals can upload up to 20,000 songs that can be remotely streamed from an iPod or iPod touch at any time.
Additional features include:
- Artist Radio: Search for favorite bands and create custom artist stations that play music from similar musicians.
- Featured Stations & Music Recommendations: Imeem Mobile generates music recommendations based on personal listening habits and those of the imeem community.
- Integration with imeem.com: Imeem Mobile supports various features on imeem.com.
Imeem Mobile is currently available free of charge from Apple’s App Store. The application was released for the Android platform last October.
