Toshiba has introduced its Canvio portable hard drive product lineup for easy-to-use computer backups.
The Canvio is available in five colors and four storage capacities, ranging from 500GB to 1TB. At its top capacity, the drive is capable of storing up to 285,000 digital photos, 263,000 digital music files, or 820 digital movies.
The USB (2) drive measures just 3.1 inches wide by 4.7 inches long and weighs only 6.3 ounces.
In addition, the Canvio featuress Windows-based NTI BackupNow EZ software, which offers improved search capabilities and simple step-by-step restore functionality to retrieve lost files.
The Canvio also boasts customization features for advanced users, including extensive backup options, advanced restore functionalities and an ability to overwrite specific original files.
Finally, the Canvio provides an option for complete system backup, enabling users to restore select files or the entire computer even if Windows is unable to start.
