Robots strut their stuff at virtual technology summit

Robotics Trends has announced a star-studded lineup of robots and other cutting-edge technologies to be showcased at an upcoming Virtual Conference & Exposition on June 16, 2010.

“The focus of the event will be autonomy, navigation, and mobility solutions for robotics and intelligent systems,” Dan Kara, president of Robotics Trends, told TG Daily in an e-mailed statement.

“The Robotics Summit is online and free to attend. As such, a worldwide audience of robotics and intelligent systems technology professionals will have the opportunity to visit the event’s virtual exposition hall to learn about the latest critical new technologies and speak directly with representatives from the more than 20 event sponsors.”

According to Kara, examples of the products and technologies to be presented at the event include the WAM Arm, Corobot, Explorer, Seekur, Robotiq Adaptive Gripper and Torc’s Hybrid Escape Drive-by-Wire Platform.
