Futuremark, Gigabyte chase the AMD dragon

Hardware vendor Gigabyte and benchmark purveyor Futuremark have teamed up to announce a worldwide competition for overclockers for the “Gigabyte Dragon” title.

The goal is to squeeze the most performance out of machines using AMD microprocessors – based on overall 3DMark and C/P% overall scores. The competition is open to anyone with an AMD processor.

However, the machine you use to enter must have a Gigabyte motherboard as well as an AMD microprocessor. There’s no limit on the number of entries you can make and there are prizes for the runnerups too.

The competition last for a month, with details and the highest overclocking scores revealed at this page .
