Google Docs gets a mobile makeover

Google is rolling out a mobile version of its popular cloud-based Docs platform.

As expected, Mobile Docs will support Android 2.2 (Froyo) smartphones, along with a wide-range of Apple iOS devices (version 3.0+), including the iPad.

Although English is currently the only supported language, others will be added over the next few months.

To get started, simply visit docs.google.com in a browser on a supported device and select the document you want to edit.

Then, when you’re viewing it, press the “Edit” button to switch to the mobile editor.
