The rumored Blackberry tablet appears to be real, and it will apparently have a 7-inch screen, 1 GHz processor, and a 3G data connection.
Investment bank Rodman and Renshaw has issued a research note in which analyst Ashok Kumar says Research In Motion’s flagship tablet should be out early next year.
The tablet’s 3G chip will reportedly come from Marvell and it will also be equipped with a front and rear digital camera, says Kumar.
The device is also going to have the ability to play back 1080p high-definition video.
RIM has still not officially confirmed the tablet, but it makes sense that it would take the initiative to create the ultimate business-oriented competitor to the iPad.
