T-Mobile said that it’s introduced a Samsung phone, the Behold II, which uses the Google Android operating system.
T-Mobile will make the touch screen device available before the start of the holidays. The machine has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen, and uses the T-Mobile 3G network.
The device comes with a five megapixel camera and Samsung’s “cube” menu – it also has “visual voicemail”, will take up to 16MB of external memory, has GPS capabilities and supports Bluetooth.
This is the first Samsung Android phone to be released in the US, but T-Mobile has another Android phone en route – the Motorola Cliq.
