AT&T has announced that LG’s 1 GHz eXpo handset will be available online beginning December 7th.
The eXpo – along with an accompanying “snap-on” pico projector – allows users to easily share presentations, slideshows and online videos. The device also features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, full size QWERTY keypad, 5.0 megapixel camera and a removable 16GB microSD memory card.
In addition, the LG eXpo is loaded with AuthenTec’s “smart sensor” technology, which eliminates the need for pin codes and passwords with its advanced fingerprint capabilities.
The above mentioned smart sensor also helps to complement the touchscreen UI by providing precise cursor control for text editing, four-way menu navigation and AuthenTec’s turbo-scroll feature.
Additional specs include:
- Weight – 1.8 ounces.
- HSPA – Supports up to 7.2 Mbps.
- OS – Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional
- Applications – Email, calendar, Microsoft Office Mobile, RSS Viewer, Podcast and aGPS.
The LG eXPo is expected to retail for $200 after a mail-in rebate, while the LG Mobile Projector will have a $180 price tag.
