AT&T has confirmed that it will be launching three new 4G handsets powered by Mango – the latest version of Microsoft’s rapidly evolving Windows Phone operating system.
Two of the devices are manufactured by Samsung, including the Samsung Focus S and the Samsung Focus Flash.
The Focus S boasts some pretty tricked-out specs, such as a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, front facing 1.3-megapixel camera, a rear facing 8-megapixel camera, 1.4GHz processor and an uber-thin profile at just 8.55 millimeters.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s Focus Flash features a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1.4 GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera – plus a front facing camera.
The third smartphone, dubbed “Titan,” is designed by HTC and offers the largest screen in AT&T’s portfolio at a cool 4.7 inches.
The display is perfect for watching videos or playing Xbox Live games. Titan – powered by a 1.5 GHz processor – is also loaded with an 8-megapixel camera and dual LED flash.
Finally, AT&T says it will be offering the long-awaited Mango update for a number of its Windows phones this fall, including the HTC Surround, HTC HD7S, LG Quantum and Samsung Focus.
