Lenovo has debuted the A10, an Android-powered laptop boasting a 10.1-inch touchscreen display (1366 x 768 display), ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor and up to 9 hours of battery life.
Additional key specs include a Rockchip RK3188 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB of storage, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean OS), microSD card slot, HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, VGA webcam and stereo speakers.
Measuring .69 inches thick and weighing less than 2.2 pounds, the notebook is loaded with a customized version of Android and extra apps including a file manager, custom app launcher and status bar.
As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, the screen can be pushed back 300 degrees so that it can stand up in presentation mode. Meaning, it faces away from the keyboard, which acts as a stand so users can deploy the device as a touchscreen mini-desktop or media player of sorts.
Unfortunately, the Android-powered A10 isn’t currently available in North America, with pricing expected to vary by region. TG Daily will keep you posted if the laptop does indeed arrive on US shores.
