It’s abundantly clear by now that Android tablets are a dime a dozen. Meaning, it’s getting pretty difficult to differentiate one tablet from another, unless, of course, you are someone who really cares about chips and raw horsepower.
So it comes as little surprise that manufacturers are coming up with more and more ways of making their particular Android tablet stand out. Case in point? The Unu, which yes, can be used as a tablet, but also plugs into a TV like a PC-on-a-stick.
As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, while you could do the very same thing with just about any Android tablet that supports HDMI out, the $200 Unu simplifies the process with a docking station, remote control and optional game controller (+$50).
According to Engadget, an early version of the tablet showcased at E3 was equipped with a 7-inch display, 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display, 8GB of storage, 1.6 GHz quad-core chip, WiFi, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, two microUSB ports and a mini HDMI jack.
