Asus has refreshed its popular Transformer Pad lineup with the high-end Infinity and entry-level 300 series.
The company says it plans to position the Infinity as its “go-to” tablet for HD mobile entertainment, as the device boasts an impressive 1920×1200 Full HD Super IPS+ display along with SonicMaster technology.
The Infinity is also loaded with a 2MP front camera for HD video conferencing, as well as an 8MP rear camera with a large F2.2 aperture, 5-element lens and LED flash for high quality images or HD video capture.
The 4G LTE model is is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 8960 Snapdragon S4 Krait Dual-core 1.5Gh processor – and is capable of download and upload speeds of up to 100Mbps and 50Mbps, respectively. The WiFi model features Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor for high-end application and gaming performance.
Meanwhile, the entry-level Transformer Pad 300 Series is geared towards mobile web surfing and Android-based gaming. The device is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, along with high quality 10.1″ 1280×800 IPS display with either 4G LTE or WiFi options.
Additional specs include a 1.2MP front camera for video conferencing, an 8MP rear camera with a large F2.2 aperture, 5-element lens allows for high quality images along with HD video recording. The Transformer Pad 300 Series also boasts a battery life of up to 10 hours, which can be extended up to 15 hours with an optional keyboard dock.
