The casting for Gotham, which is the Batman TV prequel, is gaining mucho momentum, and one of the most crucial roles has just been cast, namely Bruce Wayne. Wayne will be played by David Mazouz, who was on the show Touch, starring Kiefer Sutherland.
Mazouz is a 10 year old kid, and this show tells the story of Batman long before he became Batman. In fact, Gotham concentrates on how Commissioner Gordon rose to power. If you’re expecting to see the Dark Knight in the batsuit again, well, doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
As Variety reports, the powers that be have taken “pains” to mention to everybody that this is the kid Bruce Wayne, and you won’t see him become Batman on the show.
Another piece of the Gotham puzzle that just got placed is Camren Bicondova, who will be playing Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.
Also on board for Gotham are Ben McKeznie as Commissioner Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as the Penquin, Jada Pinkett Smith as a new villain, and more.
