Wal-Mart has announced a $200 Kinect bundle for Microsoft’s Xbox 360. The package deal – which is now available for pre-order – includes the Kinect sensor, a $30 gift card and one of the following games:
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow
- Kinect Dance Central
- Kinect Joy Ride
- Kinectimals (interact with virtual animals)
- Kinect Sports
- Kinect Adventures
Yes, the $200 Kinect bundle seems reasonably priced. However, it remains unclear if Wal-Mart will unveil yet another package deal around holiday season that includes the new sleek Xbox 360 Slim.
As TG Daily previously reported, the Kinect sensor utilizes full-body tracking to make gamers the controller.
The device also features a color VGA motion camera, with 640×480 pixel resolution @ 30 fps, along with four microphones that support single speaker voice recognition.
