iPhone gets infantile application

A company has come out with an application that takes all the sweat out of thinking up a name when you have a baby.

Babynames.com says that the app, which costs $5, can let you search and save baby names “on the go”.

The application lets you compare first and middle names with your last name, so if you’re surname is Ringing, for example, you don’t call your little tot Isabella Ringing.

Babynames.com already offers a huge selection of names online, together with the meaning of those names.

C Shanti, for example, is named after a famous type of song sung at sea by sailors to keep them off the rum and work in teams. Thanks, mom and dad for nothing.
