Following the waves with Melissa Auf der Maur

Melissa Auf der Maur is a hard rock musician from Quebec, Canada.



She kicked off her fledgling career as a bassist for the band Hole (fronted by Courtney Love) in 1998, and later toured with Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins in 2000.

Melissa released her first solo album – “Auf der Maur” – in 2004, with the second, “Out of Our Minds,” hitting record stores and iTunes in 2010.

The talented Auf der Maur has also played alongside Ric Ocasek, Rufus Wainwright, Indochine, Fountains of Wayne and the Neverending White Lights.
