This tricked-out, Blade Runner-inspired chess set artfully blends dystopian elegance with gothic architecture.
According to BoingBoing, talented artist Rick Ross is a long time BladeRunner fan who routinely designs items seen in the classic cyberpunk film noir thriller.
The chess set, along with an accompanying table, was apparently crafted based on the design of a similar item owned by the Blade Runner character J.F. Sebastian.
The set and pieces were reportedly sculpted from scratch using only HD screen captures of the movie and a poor copy of the set as a reference.
