An army of silicon sex robots may be preparing to invade the UK.
Why, you ask?
Well, an increasing number of Brits have reportedly grown tired of human companionship and are loudly clamoring for mechanical bed partners.
According to The Sun, US inventor Scott Maclean has been contacted by hordes of potential British customers interested in purchasing either the dashing Harry Harddrive or the demure Suzie Software.
“We’ve had…people from the UK contact us, including a gentleman who claimed he was a duke. We’ve got a few people from Europe, Russia, Korea, all over,” Maclean told The Sun.
“I’ve had people ask me to create a robot that looks like Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson and Michael Jackson. But I can’t model them on people in the public eye without the star’s permission.”
Scott’s robots, which are not yet capable of talking, will be priced at approximately $2,960.
Of course, Maclean’s sexy robotic duo aren’t the only ones heating up the silicon flesh market.
No, there is also the infamous “fem-bot” known as Roxxxy, who stands 5ft 6in and weighs in at a petite 60lb.
But unlike Maclean’s ‘bots, Roxxxy boasts five different mood settings, is capable of speech and can even simulate an orgasm.
Still, the added features don’t come cheap, as Roxxxy carries a rather expensive $7,000 – $9,000 price tag, plus a required monthly subscription.
Talk about high maintenance!
