As its name suggests, the BeagleBone GamingCape is an open-source project for the BeagleBone Black that transforms the board into a hand-held gaming console with a little help from a cape, LCD and enclosure.
According to CNX Software, the BeagleBone gaming console was designed by one Max Thrun in 6 weeks.

- 320×240 16Bit color TFT LCD
- Analog joystick + 2 thumb buttons
- 3D Gyro, 3D accelerometer and 3D magnetometer
- Headphone out + mic in
As an added bonus, the handheld BeageBone console is fully capable of emulating a wide range of older systems, including NES, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear.
