A new teaser video has surfaced showcasing some of the zombie action that we can expect in Call of Duty Black Ops 2. In the original Black Ops game, the Zombies mode had players trying to prevent the undead horde from breaking into buildings by barricading windows and eliminating the enemy one by one.
Essentially, if the players destroy enough zombies they win upgraded weapons. In the clip above, we see a battle scene set in a diner, with the protagonist shooting zombies as he walks around in the abandoned and dilapidated structure. He picks up a dolly and then later in the video uses that very same object as a shield to protect himself from the walkers.
The official description of the movie reads, “Collect the right pieces as you make your way through Tranzit and you might have a chance to put them to good use… Shotguns are classic, and rifles are powerful, but neither can compare with the cover offered by the Zombie Shield.”
It should also be noted that the new Zombies mode will run on an improved multiplayer gaming engine – allowing for twice as many players as the previous version of the game.
Black Ops 2 goes live on November 13 and there will be several DLC packs available with four map packs featuring fresh multiple player gaming and Zombies content. While we all be may pumped about the new zombies content, it is also important to remember that the game includes standard multiplayer action typically associated with the rest of the Call of Duty franchise. A video trailer highlighting some of the multiplayer action in normal mode surfaced back in August.
