Fable: The Journey – developed by Lionhead and published by Redmond – is the first game in the popular franchise to support Microsoft’s Kinect on the Xbox 360.
In the video below, devs discuss The Journey in detail, with a special emphasis on the evolution of the in-game world which was apparently expanded due to ability of players to ride about in carriages. Indeed, the world of Fable: The Journey is about three times the size of the Fable 3 map.
The bosses the gamer faces are also larger and more impressive than in previous Fable titles. In fact, as you can see in the video, the bosses are truly gargantuan.
The developers also talk about the protagonist, who starts off as a surprisingly as reluctant hero. The protagonist doesn’t want to fight, yet is reluctantly pressed into service.
The clip depicts some interesting footage, and it looks like the game will have very sweet graphics indeed.
Redmond plans to launch the game on October 9, and support for Microsoft’s Kinect for the Xbox 360 looks like it will add yet another interesting aspect to the game controls.
