HBO’s popular fantasy drama The Game of Thrones already has a cult status. And for the fourth year in a row, it has broken the record of being the most pirated show ever. GOT has made its mark in the Guinness Book of World Records with about 14.4 million recorded illegal downloads per episode.
The show has also broken another record, that of the Most Emmy Awards won by a TV series in one season, with season five winning a total of 12 awards. As epic as this is, it doesn’t come as a surprise to the show’s diehard fans.
