Software giant Microsoft plans to sell its digital agency Razorfish, a giant interactive advertising and marketing agency.
According to the Financial Times, a French marketing firm called Publicis Group is interested in buying Razorfish. Microsoft picked up the agency when it bought aQuantive two years ago for $6 billion.
Razorfish is based in Seattle and has over 2,000 employees. Clients include McDonald, Nike and Audi.
The FT said that Razorfish is worth between $600 million to $700 million, with revenues in its last year of around $400 million. Microsoft will use Morgan Stanley to broker the deal, it said.
