The very talented Casey Putsch has built what appears to be the only turbine-powered Batmobile on the planet.
Unfortunately, there is no Catwoman stretched out on the back seat in a tight leather outfit, but I guess the sexy car more than makes up for that.
So check this out.
Under the hood of the sleek and contoured Batmobile sits a Boeing turboshaft engine. Originally designed for naval drone helicopters, the engine’s power output is rated at a cool 385 – which is typical for a vehicle that weighs approximately 2,800 pounds.
The inside of the Batmobile is probably just as trippy, with a satellite Internet-enabled Apple iPad acting as an “avionics system” and displaying GPS info.
Additional specs include:
