Most of us have seen iPhone users across the globe putting their digital art on show lately with Prisma, but not anymore. Android users now get access to the photo-filter app that has been a rave ever since it was first launched on the Apple Store.
The Prisma app on the Google Play store for Android phones is sized at 7 MB and is compatible with devices that are running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or later.
The availability of official Prisma app comes as a big sigh of relief, as many users complained of spotting fake Prisma apps, even before its actual bow to the platform.
As highlighted by the makers of Prisma, they have managed to pack in most features that have been exploited to the hilt by users on iOS till now.
With Prisma, it is said that unlike on Instagram, it doesn’t apply a filter on images and instead rebuilds your photos by combining them with the style of another image making good use of AI.
It is great to see that Prisma has quickly made its way to Android. While this may be good news for tech-savvy social users out there, most of us will have to prepare ourselves for an even more crowded Prisma-filled newsfeed.
