It seems like every other day we’re seeing a new Windows 8 device hit the market, be it a smartphone or tablet. Most of the tablets out there are equipped with displays measuring between 7-10 inches. Of course, there are always those power users out there who prefer a smaller and more portable device running a full version of Windows – alongside an alternative operating system like Android.
Enter the Tegatech DLI7200 – which features a 4.3-inch screen and runs both Android and Windows 8. Now if Windows 8 isn’t your favorite flavor, the device is fully capable of running Windows XP or 7 as well. The TegaTech is powered by an Intel Atom Z670 Oak Trail processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.
One look at this device and you can see it has a very bulky looking and industrial design, which is unsurprising considering it is primarily targeted at commercial and industrial applications.
Meaning, it’s designed to be rugged and even boasts an integrated scanner that can be used for swapping credit cards or other cards that feature magnetic strips. The Tegatech is also equipped with an RFID reader, a barcode scanner and integrated NFC technology.
