Canadian PC manufacturer Eurocom has published specifications of its upcoming Phantom notebook, which will include Intel’s upcoming Prescott CPU with 64-bit extensions. According to a specsheet published on Eurocom’s website, the notebooks apparently will be available in June with processors up to 3.8 GHz and target the desktop replacement segement. Additionally, the device will feature 1 Gigabyte RAM, ATI M24 or Nvidia NV41 graphics with 256 MByte memory, HDTV output and PCI Express, one or two harddrives with 80 GByte capacity each, a 17 inch display and a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port. An interesting touch is a built-in PC camera with a resolution of 1.3 Megapixel.

A spokesperson declined to comment on the specsheet and noted that this information was published ‘temporarily’ to provide information to some of Eurocom’s customers.

More information is available on the manufacturer’s website.
