Sarvega, known for its networking products based on XML (Extensible Markup Language), has agreed to be acquired by Intel Corp. for an undisclosed amount, Intel announced Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Intel plans to fold Sarvega’s technology and employees into its Software and Solutions Group. The world’s largest chip maker has expanded its software development team in recent years to focus on designing software that ships with Intel’s processors and chipsets.
