Microsoft fixes key SP2 issue

Microsoft has released a Windows XP Service Pack 2 update to fix an installation problem that was caused by a third-party adware program named “T.V. Media.”

Released by, T.V. Media is designed to place advertising on computers that run the company’s free software applications. These include zSearch Toolbar, which delivers text search results directly to a toolbar, as well as Memory Meter and Speed Blaster, applications that monitor a computer’s available memory and optimize Internet connection speed.
