Mitac to ship two million GPS-enabled pocket PCs in 2005

Mitac International expects its shipments of GPS pocket PCs to double to two million units in 2005 from the one million it shipped in 2004, said company president Billy Ho, while presiding over the launch of the company’s two own-brand GPS-enabled hand-held devices, the Mio 268 and Mio 169, for the local market in Taiwan.
