Intel won't comply with Chinese wireless standards

Intel says it’s not complying with China’s government-imposed wireless security standards, setting the stage for a showdown between the world’s most populous nation and U.S.-based technology firms. The world’s dominant semiconductor company said China’s homegrown encryption technology failed to work well with chips based on the existing global standard known as Wi-Fi.
