Atari will demo an ranges of games at E3, including the previously announced “The Matrix: Path of Neo” that will be on display for the PS2. Test Drive will continue its more than decade-long history with the sequel “Unlimited” for the Xbox 360.
The Matrix: Path of Neo is set in the Matrix universe and allows players to assume the role of Neo and relive significant and critical moments from all three films. The likenesses of the film’s stars including Keanu Reeves (“Neo”), Laurence Fishburne (“Morpheus”), Carrie-Anne Moss (“Trinity”), and Hugo Weaving (“Agent Smith”) are all featured, and footage from all three films as well as The Animatrix is incorporated, Atari said.
Test Drive Unlimited is described as “automotive experience for car and bike enthusiasts alike.” The player visits car and bike dealers and chooses to purchase new vehicles or simply take them for a spin. Gamers are able to collect and trade rare performance parts and customize each vehicle to make it one-of-a-kind, according to Atari. Exotic cars can be driven on more than 1000 miles of diverse Hawaiian roads.
The company did not say when the games will be released. (THG)
