Hynix projects its NAND flash ASP will not drop more than 20% in Q2

Despite a decline in NAND flash average selling prices (ASPs) hurting Hynix Semiconductor’s first quarter revenues on a quarterly basis, the memory maker is positive about demand picking up this quarter. In addition, O.C. Kwon senior vice president of strategic planning unit at Hynix indicated that production migration to sub 90nm is proceeding steadily and the company expects to see 80% of its NAND made on sub-90nm processes by the end of the year.
