Atari asks for extension on buyout offer

Ars Technica has a short post, saying that Atari has requested more time to consider a buyout offer it has received from its parent company Infogrames. “This is most likely due to the fact that it has hired the consulting services of Duff & Phelps LLC (a financial advisory firm) to help evaluate the proposed purchase plan,” Ars Technica writes.
