Google Gears turn to mobile platform

Mountain View (CA) – Google’s unique application that allows users to go to previously viewed websites while offline is now coming to mobile phones.

The Google Gears tool creates a copy of every website that users visit, allowing them to go back to that site even when they don’t have an Internet connection.

In an official blog post, Google said a mobile version of the program is now available for developers for the Internet Explorer Mobile platform.  The online giant expects to make the application available for other browsers in the future.
