San Francisco (CA) – The latest Internet ad firm acquisition comes as Yahoo announced it has bought Blue Lithium for $300 million.
Blue Lithium is an online advertising firm that mainly offers banner ads on hundreds of different sites. The move is part of a continuous game of catch-up as Yahoo tries to close in on online mammoth Google.
The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of the year, says Yahoo. The Internet giant plans to integrate Blue Lithium’s technology into existing Yahoo products and services.
