iPhone sales to top 800,000 in Q3?

UBS analyst Ben Reitzes believes that Apple may “easily” exceed its target of 730,000 sold iPhones during the current quarter, according to a report published by Reuters. In a research note, Reitzes also said said that the company may actually sell more than 800,000 phones in Q4.

“Our checks continue to indicate solid demand for the iPhone despite typical moderation in excitement from launch and extremely high expectations,” analyst the analyst wrote wrote. “Our findings point toward modest upside to our fiscal Q4 07 shipment estimate of 800,000 units,” he added.
