Hewlett-Packard’s PC division next week will release a new line of compact,
design-intensive Vectra and Brio PCs for business buyers.
HP, which is growing at a slower rate than both Dell and Gateway 2000, hopes the introduction will reenergize its desktop line.
The new Vectras and Brio computers will use Intel Celeron and Pentium II processors, and will support Pentium III chips when they become available at the end of the month. Prices start at $750.
