Intel Corp. and the Federal Trade Commission have reached an agreement, laying the groundwork for the FTC to drop its antitrust case against the chip giant.
Both parties submitted a motion for the Commission to consider a proposed settlement.
“We view this compromise agreement as a win-win for both parties and we are satisfied that the agreement gives us value for our intellectual property rights,” said Intel president and CEO Craig Barrett.
Details of the deal were not disclosed. Additional information about Intel is available at http://www.intel.com.
