Intel has unveiled two new routers for business networks, and a new gigabit-speed Ethernet switch for connecting business departments across a LAN.
The products derive from Intel’s recent Shiva and XLNT acquisitions, sending a signal about the increasing importance Intel is placing on the networking market to fuel its revenue growth.
The new Intel 6000 Series Switch will be available in late September for $13,995. The Intel Express 9500 routers are available now, priced at $1,449. The Intel 8200 router will be available at the end of the year.
