GT Interactive is preparing the release of the first-ever dirt track car racing game for the PC.
Dirt Track Racing gives players the chance to advance through the various stages of racing, from amateur to professional. Each player begins with $1,000 to purchase their first vehicle, then must win prize money and attract sponsors in order to buy faster vehicles and work their way up to higher classes of competition.
Designed by Australia-based developer Ratbag, the game features three different play modes (in arcade or full simulation), including single-player racing only, career-mode, and multiplayer (up to 10 players) over LAN and the Internet.
Dirt Track Racing will be available in November for $19.99 at retail stores or online at www.gtstore.com. Screen shots of gameplay can be viewed and downloaded beginning September 27 at www.wizworks.com/product_art.
