Activision reportedly has set a release date for the highly-anticipated Quake III: Arena.
Developed by id Software, the game is expected to hit store shelves by December 12, at a price of about $49.99.
Activision is said to have completed final testing of the game – the third first-person shooter in the Quake series – last week. Company officials have said it includes both a single- and multiplayer gaming mode.
