A Canadian reseller revealed it has filed a lawsuit against Apple Canada, alleging the manufacturer engaged in anticompetitive practices.
The new allegations come only a week after Japanese antitrust officials raided the offices of Apple Japan, acting on tips from resellers in that nation.
Computer Buyer’s Warehouse Direct of Markham, Ont., filed its suit in August in Ontario Court General Division in Toronto. The suit seeks about $3.38 million (U.S.) to compensate the reseller for a breached authorized-dealer agreement.
