HP unveils employee-proof PC

Hewlett-Packard has introduced a small, lightweight PC that can help keep employees out of trouble on the job.

The e-Vectra, formerly code-named the ePc, weighs just over eight pounds, and includes such ease-of-use features as a larger start button, and an external power supply to reduce support costs.

Other features include a closed case to cut down on memory theft, a hard drive door that can be locked, and USB ports that are located in the back of the system and can be blocked with a muzzle-like device, making it more difficult for workers to plug in digital cameras, MP3 players and other entertainment devices.
