Whistler leaks onto the Web - again

Another test version of Whistler – the code name for an upcoming Microsoft operating system – has made its way onto the Internet.

Last month, an earlier prototype of the OS was posted to the Web.

Microsoft says it does not know who is responsible for the leaks, or whether this most recent posting is in fact a prototype of Whistler.

Designed as a consumer version of Windows 2000, Whistler is expected to be the next major Microsoft operating system release after Windows Me, due out later this year.
